DIGITAL CONTROLLERS DESIGN USING DELTA-OPERATOR

Automated control systems digital controllers design is considered when sampling period and controller’s wordlength strong restriction. The use of delta-operator allows realizing fixed-point digital controllers when classical z-operator based implementation is difficult or inefficient. An example of delta-operator application for gyro stabilizer digital controller realization is shown. An investigation is made proving that delta-operator is preferable for solving the given problem.
