THE METHOD OF WAVELET ANALYSIS FOR MONITORING THE WINDINGS CONDITION OF THE ELECTRICAL MACHINES
The article describes the main causes of internal damage to the electrical machine windings. The method of wavelet analysis to fault diagnosis windings is reviewed. The main advantages of wavelet analysis over the two other popular methods of diagnosis: pulse and frequency are shown. The basic principles of wavelet transform are described. The results of experiments using this method are presented. The main advantages and disadvantages of this diagnosis method are identified.
