COMPOSITE MATERIALS ON THE BASE OF Al2O3–Fe2O3 SYSTEM OBTAINED BY COMBUSTION SOLUTIONS METHOD

The compositions with a different molar ratio of aluminum and iron (3+) cations by combusting solutions has been prepared. It was shown that the structure and size of the obtained particles determined by the temperature of the process which depends on the fuel used, fuel/metal nitrates ratio in the initial composition and the molar content of iron component. The possibility of obtaining nanopowders with a high specific surface area and an ordered pore structure was shown. The resulting composites can be used as sorbents, catalysts and carriers, as precursors in the synthesis of functional ceramic materials, as well as MEMS elements.
