MICROFOCUS X-RAY RADIOGRAPHY IN THE STUDY OF ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITES, MUSEUM OBJECTS AND WORKS OF ART

This article covers physical and technical principles of the radiography method with direct geometric magnification of the object (microfocus radiography). Features of obtaining X-ray images on devices with extended and point focal spot are discussed. Results of studies of archaeological sites and museum objects with microfocus X-ray radiography method are shown.
