ANALYSIS OF DYNAMICS OF NITRIFICATION PROCESS IN THE MODEL OF BIOLOGICAL WASTEWATER TREATMENT ASM1

The behavior features of the nitrification mathematical model based on ASM1 are researched. The results of study of the transformation processes of ammonium to nitrate, the growth and decay of nitrifying bacteria, oxidation, and changes in alkalinity in the bioreactor are presented. They are received by an analysis of the model and by a computer modeling in Matlab/Simulink and by calculation in Maple.
