DATA COLLECTION METHODS WITH SENSORY NODES WSN

The process of information interaction of the Internet-of-things sensor nodes from the base station is considered. Requirements to devices and algorithms are summarized. The classification of methods for the sensor field nodes polling based on the procedures of random access to the radio channel is presented. Two modifications of a random access method without carrier sensing are described: modified random synchronous and random time-synchronous access to the radio channel, both of which, as compared with the known methods, lead to a reduction in the number of collisions in the data acquisition system. For each type of access the algorithms and timing charts, representing the process of collecting information of sensor nodes by the base station, are given. The task of developing new algorithms for device interoperability in wireless sensor networks as a link between the sensor nodes (physical smart things) and the corresponding cloud-based Internet resources is revealed. The problem of reducing energy consumption at all stages of sensor nodes is recognized as a priority, and can prolong the service life of the sensor network as a whole. For data collection from the sensor nodes of wireless sensor networks it is advisable to apply random «traditional» methods of access to the radio channel, which are to be modified to reduce the number of collisions in wireless sensor networks.
