PULSE DC/DC CONVERTER CONTROL SYSTEM SYNTHESIS AS A COMPONET OF AC ELECTRIC DRIVE

The problems of development of DC mains backup power system for frequency-controlled AC electric drive for standalone object are discussed. As a DC mains electric power source stand in as storage battery. The feature of the considered elec-tromechanical system is a variation of the backup mains voltage in the quite wide range. This property is a disturbance effect for the converting equipment of the electric drive system. Power circuit and general properties of step-up pulsed DC/DC converter are considered. Thecontrol system of the converter for backup supply is developed. Synthesis of closed control loops was realized by the motion separation method. Composed and investigated simulation model of the converter and its output performance are presented. The results of a computer simulation are verified by experimental research on a breadboard pulsed converter model. The oscilloscope pictures of the operation modes are given.
