DEVELOPMENT OF THE APPROACH TO THE SOLUTION OF THE PROBLEM OF FORMING THE ASSORTMENT OF PRODUCTS FOR RETAIL OUTLETS

The problem of forming the assortment of retail outlets for the purpose of increasing the retailer company's profit relevant is considered. It is shown that automation of this process is required due to the circumstances, such as the need to analyze a large number of sales data, and, most importantly, the process takes a lot of time and employees effort. Special attention in the article is given to the need to automate this process, because automation will increase the speed of work not only for a single employee, but for the whole company. A comparative analysis of analogues is carried out and the advantages of using artificial neural networks for solving such problems are grounded. The structure of tasks solved in the process of forming the assortment is presented. The approach to the solution of the problem is developed, various variants of organization of the network structure, namely the input and output layers of the network, are considered, and the most informative method is presented. The actual tasks for the development of work in the future are formulated.
