LASER EXPRESS-DIAGNOSTICS OF MICROMYCETES-BIODESTRUCTORS

A study of microscopic fungi biodestructors using laser-induced fluorescence spectroscopy (LIF) and laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) spectroscopy was carried out. It is shown that the LIF method allows identifying species of fungi from their fluorescence spectrum, and using the SLIP method one can determine their elemental composition. It was found that the LIP spectra correlate well with the chemical composition of the nu-trient medium on which the fungal colonies were grown when creating prototypes used in the experiments. It was found that the intensities of individual atomic lines of the LIP spectrum can differ significantly for different types of microorganisms, which is due to differences in their ability to accumulate certain chemical elements in their cells. According to the LIF spectra, the status of micromycetes can be diagnosed at various stages of their de-velopment. In particular, the possibility of detecting and identifying live and temperature-treated (dead) fungal spores has been demonstrated.
