CURRENT ISSUES OF OPERATING SEVERAL UNMAANNED AIRCRAFTS BY A SINGLE EXTERNAL PILOT

The article investigates current issues of operating several unmanned aircrafts in terms of optimization of avia-tion performance by reducing the number of ground-based crews and quantity of personnel required for flight execution and operation. The authors provide the review of changes to ANO of the Russian Federation in terms of implementation of the new concept of unmanned aircraft system into the reference documentation. They also provide several tasks of providing operational security to unmanned aircraft systems as well as various solu-tions on operating the group of distance piloted aircrafts during the survey of large ground areas. The authors research the process and peculiarities of piloting the unmanned aircrafts from the distance piloting base using lines of operation and control, and describe the corresponding data streams. They provide the process optimiza-tion procedure for monitoring the long-distance areas using the unmanned aircrafts, and the results of its practi-cal test during actual flights.
