FLUX OF 7BE FROM THE STRATOSPHERE

Measurements of 7Be in the ground-level air over Leningrad region during 4–12 of January 2016 are reported. They showed a rapid grow in 7Be concentration up to 1.02 × 10–1 Bq/m 3 due to a vigorous jet stream. The actual radiosonde data with altitude coverage of 32 km as well as the comparison between 7Be concentrations and gross beta activity suggest that tropopause there was broken, so air from the stratosphere went down to the troposphere.
