ACTIVE AND INDUCTIVE RESISTANCE LOCATED IN A GROOVE OF A RECTANGULAR ROD

Derivation of expressions was performed for active and inductive resistance of a rectangular rod, located in a groove of a rotor, in accounting of the effect of current displacement into the upper part of the rod section and regardless of its material. The expressions obtained for the rod resistance allow to design asynchronous motors with the required starting torque multiplicity.
