Structure and magnetic properties of composites based on nanocrystalline ferrite phases, obtained by sol-gel method

The previously obtained experimental results including phase composition, microstructure and magnetic properties of sol-gel nanocompositesbased on MeOx–SiO2 systems are summarized. On the basis of conductivity measurements of Fe3O4/SiO2 colloids in a constant magnetic field the possibility of using this system as a part of the magnetic field sensors is shown.
