INFLUENCE OF THE REFLECTED WAVES ON ACCURACY OF A PULSING-PHASE MEASURING INSTRUMENT OF SPEED OF ULTRASOUND

The article examines the influence of reflected waves in the acoustic channel of the pulsing-phase ultrasonic velocimeter to changes in the phase of the signal at its output. We find the dependence of the phase error of the reflection coefficient and of the radiation spacing period. Using the above results, it is possible to calculate the achievable accuracy of the meter and determine the requirements for its parameters.
