EVALUATION OF STABILITY OF CYCLICAL PROCESSES USING SHEWHART CONTROL CHARTS

This article is proposing a new approach to evaluation of stability of cyclical processes. In this approach a process is analyzed by constructing the control limits for each value of a characteristic of a cyclical process and then the rules for detecting non-random conditions are being used. That allows to identify the current state (stable or instable) of cyclical process and to make decision about the need for intervention in a process.
