A NEW GENERATION OF AUTOMATED SYSTEMS FOR MONITORING AND TESTING TO ENSURE THE SAFETY OF AIRCRAFT LANDING

This paper deals with a new generation of automated mobile electromechanical systems continuously measuring friction coefficient airfield pavements, based on a new principle of braking when rolling measuring wheel with an automatically operated sliding undertaken electromechanical devices braking controller based on electric cars either AC or DC and stand equipment for all kinds of tests in their design and operation.
